The present invention relates to the use as perfuming ingredients of certain derivatives of perhydro-1-naphthalenol of formula: ##STR00001## wherein, in particular, each R represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 represent a methyl or ethyl group, and R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower acyl group.
