Disclosed is a system and method for tracking location of objects
(personnel) at a site. The system comprises: a central server, plurality
of remote locator tags disposed on the objects, plurality of remote
repeater devices capable of transmitting data signals to locate the
locator tags, receiving location data signals from the locator tags, and
transmitting the location data signals to the central server. A plurality
of databases having location information are connected to the central
server and a processing unit with a tracking software operably connected
to the central server, compiles and assembles the location data signals
and location information for tracking the objects at the site, thereby
establishes a real time location tracking and communication with the
objects. The system also enables setting up ad-hoc networks fully
functioning on power and signals independent of the primary systems of
the site and enhances decision making in real time environment.
