The display device has a large-size display area. In order to be able to efficiently and comfortably represent medical images in the operating theater, the PACS workstation is connected to a sterilizable remote control unit which is equipped with control elements for controlling the representation of the medical images by means of the display device that is connected to the PACS workstation.
