A compound represented by Formula 1 and an organic light emitting device
including the same: ##STR00001## where Ar is a substituted or
unsubstituted C.sub.6-C.sub.26 aryl group; X is O, S, ##STR00002##
R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are hydrogen, a halogen, a C.sub.1-C.sub.12 alkyl
group, a C.sub.6-C.sub.26 aryl group, or a substituted group thereof;
R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 are each
independently hydrogen or a substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1-C.sub.12
alkyl group; R.sub.9 through R.sub.22 are each independently hydrogen, a
C.sub.1-C.sub.30 alkyl group, a C.sub.1-C.sub.30 alkoxy group, a
C.sub.6-C.sub.30 aryl group, a C.sub.6-C.sub.30 arylalkyl group, a
C.sub.6-C.sub.30 aryloxy group, a C.sub.5-C.sub.30 heteroaryl group, a
C.sub.5-C.sub.30 heteroarylalkyl group, a C.sub.5-C.sub.30 heteroaryloxy
group, a C.sub.5-C.sub.20 cycloalkyl group, a C.sub.5-C.sub.30
heterocycloalkyl group, or a substituted group thereof. An organic light
emitting device using the compound has low operating voltage, high color
purity, and high efficiency.
