A copolymer composition comprising monomers copolymerized in the following percentages by weight: (a) from about 20% to about 95% of a monomer, or mixture of monomers, of formula (I): C.sub.nF.sub.2n+1(CH.sub.2).sub.x[(CF.sub.2CF.sub.2).sub.y(CH.sub.2CH.sub.- 2).sub.z].sub.m-L-C(O)--C(R).dbd.CH.sub.2 (I) wherein R is H, Cl, F or CH.sub.3, L is O, S, NH, S--(CH.sub.2).sub.rO, S--(CH.sub.2).sub.rNH, OC(O)NH--CH.sub.2CH.sub.2O, NHC(O)NHCH.sub.2CH.sub.2O, S--(CH.sub.2).sub.rOC(O)NHCH.sub.2CH.sub.2O, or S(CH.sub.2).sub.rNHC(O)NHCH.sub.2CH.sub.2O, and (b) from about 5% to about 80% of at least one of: (i) an alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer having a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group of from about 6 to about 18 carbons; or (II) a monomer of formula (II) (R.sup.2).sub.2N--R.sup.3--O--C(O)--C(R).dbd.CH.sub.2 (II) wherein R is H, Cl, F or CH.sub.3, each R.sup.2 is independently a C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl; and R.sup.3 is a divalent linear or branched C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkylene; and wherein the nitrogen is from about 40% to 100% salinized; or (iii) a mixture thereof.
