virtual space and a relative location and direction of a communication
partner in the real space can be grasped as bodily sensations, is
provided. A client 201 comprises a GPS receiver 231 and a magnetic sensor
232 which detects a location of a user of the client 201 itself in the
real space, a presence provider 222 which sends the location detected by
the detection means to a server apparatus, a space modeler 332 which
calculates a location of the user in the virtual space based on the
location of the user himself and locations of the other users in the real
space, and an audio renderer 216 which controls sound effects based on
the locations of the users in the virtual space.
