Indole compounds of the formula: ##STR00001## wherein L.sub.1, L.sub.2, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.a, R.sub.b, R.sub.c, R.sub.d, and R.sub.e are defined herein. Also disclosed are methods of using of the indole compounds in inhibiting tubulin polymerization and treating cancer and other angiogenesis-related disorders.
