A method of producing safe drinking water from virtually any water source
utilizing a water purification system is disclosed. The method includes a
combination of water purification methods with a control system that
evaluates water quality and functional processing parameters, such as
pressure and flow. The control system determines what water processing
methods to utilize and how most efficiently to operate them. The system
is capable of treating highly contaminated water to the necessary degree
to produce safe drinking water. Furthermore, the system regulates and
cleans itself to maintain functionality despite receiving high
concentrations of various contaminants from the feed water source.
