The wherein C-arm and the console are mechanically decoupled from one another so that the C-arm and/or the console are movable relative to one another, between an exposure-taking position where the C-arm is in an immediate vicinity of the console, and a position wherein the C-arm and the console are separated from one another and wherein access to said C-arm and/or to said console is facilitated.
