Aromachemical compounds of Formula I, compositions comprising these compounds and processes for their preparation are disclosed, ##STR00001## wherein R.sub.1 is H, C(O)O--CH.sub.2--CH.sub.3; C(O)O--CH.sub.3, or C(O)O--H; R.sub.2 is methyl; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are H; R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are CH.sub.3; Z is C(H).sub.2; and X is --CN. The double bond attached to X can be in the E or Z configuration.
