Certain embodiments of the present invention provide methods and systems for location and/or rules based printing for healthcare data. Certain embodiments provide a printing system for printing health care data. The printing system includes a user device and a plurality of printers. The printing system further includes a processor operably connected to the user device and to the plurality of printers that is configured to associate a location with the user device, and to select at least one printer from among the plurality of printers to provide a print out requested from the user device based on the location associated with the user device.
