A radio network system employing a method with dynamic adjustment of the
power offset that provides a "per-UE"-NACK to ACK power offset
calculation method instead of using a fixed offset for all users in the
cell is disclosed. Also for each UE, the power offset can adjusted
dynamically. The adjustment is based on the error event of NACK to ACK.
When an error event of NACK to ACK happens, the offset is increased,
otherwise the offset is decreased. Hence, the offset can be controlled
for each User Equipment for the duration of a call starting from some
standard configured value is calculated and used rather than a fixed
offset.
