Provided is a method for production of a beverage, including discharging air bubbles having a median diameter of 1 to 200 .mu.m into a solution containing a tea extract or a tea extract solution and removing a layer of bubbles formed on a surface of the solution. The method enables to produce a beverage containing a tea extract which has a high purity quality and good flavor.
