The invention provides a wet development device, wet development method
and image forming apparatus having the device by which appropriate
cleaning can be performed, the wear of the blade or developing roller can
be reduced, and good images can be obtained without toner contamination
even when the amount of toner for development or that of electric charge
of the toner is changed for changing the density or gradation of image or
type of paper. The toner in the developer is electrically charged to an
arbitral charging amount by a discharging section and provided for the
development and the charge of the toner is eliminated after development
by that a discharging section is provided before cleaning the developer
remaining on the developing roller and the output of the discharging
section is appropriately controlled corresponding to the output of the
discharging section.
