The invention relates to the field of biologically active compounds based on natural vegetable raw material, to methods for the production thereof and to the use thereof in a medical clinical and public health practice. The object of the invention is a method for producing a wheat germ oil concentrate wherein wheat germ oil is produced by cold pressing from wheat germs pre-dried to a moisture content of 6-8 percent, the oil is extracted twice with 92-93 vol. percent ethyl alcohol at a ratio of 1:3 and 1:2, respectively, the alcoholic extracts are combined, maintained, and after separation of the phases are evaporated under vacuum at a temperature of 50-60.degree. C. until the alcohol is removed. The concentrate thus obtained is used as a component for a medicinal and prophylactic agent suitable for restoring disorders in sexual functions that also contains selenium and zinc at the defined ratios. The method ensures to obtain an oil enriched with phytosterols, different forms of tocopherols and carotenoids, which increases the nutritional and healing properties thereof.
