What is described are a compound of the formula (I) Wherein U is --N(R.sub.2)OR.sub.3 or --N.sup.+(O.sup.-).dbd.C(R.sub.E)R.sub.Z); n is 0 or 1; X--Y is --CH.dbd.CH-- or --CH.sub.2--CH.sub.2--; R.sub.1 is C.sub.1-C.sub.12alkyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.8cycloalkyl or C.sub.2-C.sub.12alkenyl; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are, for example; independently from each other, --Q, --C(.dbd.O)--Z--Q or --CN; R.sub.Z and R.sub.E are, independently from each other, --Q, --C(.dbd.O)--Z--Q or --CN; or R.sub.Z and R.sub.E together are a three- to seven membered alkylene or alkenylene bridge, which is unsubstituted or mono- to tri-substituted; Z is a bond, O or --NR.sub.4--; Q is H, C.sub.1-C.sub.12alkyl, C.sub.2-C.sub.12alkenyl, C.sub.2-C.sub.12alkynyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.12-Cycloalkyl, C.sub.5-C.sub.12-cycloalkenyl, aryl, or heterocyclyl, which are unsubstituted or mono- to pentasubstituted; R.sub.4 is for example H, C.sub.1-C.sub.8alkyl, hydroxy-C.sub.1-C.sub.8alkyl, C.sub.3-C.sub.8cycloalkyl or C.sub.2-C.sub.8alkenyl; or, if appropriate, an E/Z isomer, E/Z isomer mixture and/or tautomer thereof; a process for preparing these compounds, their isomers and tautomers and the use of these compounds, their isomers and tautomers; pesticidal compositions whose active compound is selected from these compounds and their tautomers; intermediates for the preparation of the said compounds of the formula (I), methods for the preparation of the compounds of the formula (I), and a method for controlling pests using these compositions. ##STR00001##
