Provided is a radiation-curable silicone rubber composition comprising:
(A) a specific organopolysiloxane, which at each molecular chain terminal
contains two or three silicon-containing groups that each contain a
plurality of (from 2 to 9) (meth)acryloyl groups (in other words, a
specific organopolysiloxane containing from 8 to 54 (meth)acryloyl groups
within each molecule); and (B) a radiation sensitizer. The composition
cures easily and favorably upon irradiation with low intensity, low
energy radiation, and in particular upon irradiation with ultraviolet
light emitted from a UV-LED light source. A cured coating generated from
the composition rapidly develops favorable adhesion to a wide variety of
substrates, and provides excellent corrosion prevention for the
substrate, even under severe conditions.
