The present invention a method of improving, enhancing or modifying a
fragrance formulation through the addition of an olfactory acceptable
amount of a compound of formula: ##STR00001## wherein R is absent,
hydrogen or methyl; R1, R2, and R3 are independently hydrogen or methyl;
and the broken lines represent independently single or double bonds, with
the proviso that when R1, R2, and R3 are hydrogen, R is methyl.
