The apparatus may include a DMB module for receiving a digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) signal and processing the received DMB signal, a navigation module, and an output unit for outputting data according to at least one of operations of the DMB module and the navigation unit. The apparatus may further include a controller for controlling the DMB module and the navigation module, and controlling a switching operation for switching data to be outputted according to a broadcasting signal received through the DMB module. A method for outputting data may also be provided.
