A transport vehicle wheel assembly comprising a set of rotating components
and a set of static components wherein an applied electrical current
applied to conductive material incorporated into at least one components
structural matrix of one set of components gives rise to primary magnetic
fields which interact with reactive magnetic fields associated with
material incorporated into at least one components structural matrix of
another set of components and gives rise to rotational forces which act
on the rotating components of said transport vehicle wheel assembly to
induce controlled forward rotation of a wheel and having regenerative
braking and reverse drive ability thus allowing controlled retardation
assistance.
