A balancing shaft unit for balancing inertia or torque in an internal
combustion engine of a motor vehicle. The balancing shaft unit includes a
housing part and at least one balancing shaft having at least one
counterweight. The housing part is made in one piece and has at least two
integrated bearing sections with a respective bearing opening. A
respective cut-out is formed at longitudinal ends of the balancing shaft
in which a respective bearing pin is arranged that is rigidly connected
to the balancing shaft and which has a cylindrical bearing section that
is supported in a respective one of the bearing openings.
