A compound of formula (I): ##STR00001## in which A, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 are as defined herein. Also disclosed are (1) a pharmaceutical composition containing such a compound, and (2) a method for treating a cannabinoid receptor-mediated disorder using such a compound.
