diffusion in space and time of a reaction front, for determining and
reporting the prevailing concentration or exposure history of an analyte
in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical monitoring for the state of
quality, for ripeness indication in fruit, for monitoring environments
for concentrations of sanitisers, pollutants and nutrients, for
monitoring the residual life of filters, and for monitoring stream flows.
