An organic electroluminescent display (OELD) device comprises a first
electrode on a first substrate having an active region and a non-active
region at periphery of the active region, the active region including a
plurality of pixel regions and the non-active region including a power
supply region; an organic luminescent layer on the first electrode in the
plurality of pixel regions; a first organic layer on the first electrode
in the power supply region; a second organic layer on the first substrate
in an outer region of the power supply region; a second electrode on the
organic luminescent layer; a driving thin film transistor connected to
the second electrode and formed on a second substrate; and a power supply
terminal connected to the first organic layer and formed on the second
substrate, wherein the first organic layer has substantially the same
shape as the organic luminescent layer, and the second organic layer has
substantially a different shape from the organic luminescent layer.
