Disclosed are compounds of the formula ##STR00001## and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. X is N or N.sup.+O.sup.-, and Y is N or N.sup.+O.sup.-, provided that at least X or Y is N. The compounds are useful for the treatment of chemokine-mediated diseases such as COPD.
