Nowadays, sliding bearings are usually used which apply the so-called
plug-shoe principle to level-out dynamic movements of the surrounding. In
this application, there is proposed a sliding bearing for airplanes
comprising a frame, a carrier plate and a fast-locking element. The
fast-locking element may allow for a mounting of interior installations
at the sliding bearing perpendicular to the ceiling surface. Further, by
means of the sliding bearing according to the invention, an unintended
gliding-out of the carrier plate out of the frame may be prevented. In
this way, a light and cost-effective sliding bearing may be provided, by
means of which the mounting effort of interior installations is
facilitated.
