A method of promoting business on a golf course using golf ball position
markers including the steps of: providing replacement golf ball markers
mountable on golf gloves, the markers having a corporate theme or logo to
be promoted conveyed on the top side of each marker; distributing the
markers to golfers and substituting the markers for non-promotion markers
which do not convey the corporate theme or logo, so as to promote the
corporate theme or logo to the golfers during play, whereby as
consecutive golfers from a group of the golfers putt on each green in the
series of greens comprising the golf course being played, the corporate
theme or logo is recurringly conveyed to the group each time various
markers in random order are used during putting on the greens.
