having a start indicator and a stop indicator where only one of the start
and stop indicators is highlighted; and (b) determining whether to
proceed with a surgical procedure based on whether the start indicator or
the stop indicator is highlighted. A confirmation board apparatus
comprises: (a) an image of a human body that is visibly divided into
sections; and (b) a mechanism for visibly highlighting individual
sections of the image.
