The present invention provides a rubber composition with superior
properties with respect to processability, low fuel consumption, complex
modulus, and durability, and tires prepared by using the rubber
composition. The rubber composition of the present invention comprises: 2
to 2.9 parts by weight of (B) sulfur, 0.6 to 10 parts by weight of (C) at
least one compound selected from the group consisting of a cresol resin,
a resorcin condensate, and a modified resorcin condensate, and 10 to 55
parts by weight of (D) a carbon black and/or silica, based on 100 parts
by weight of (A) a rubber component comprising a natural rubber and/or
isoprene rubber and at least two kinds of synthetic rubbers selected from
the group consisting of butadiene rubber, modified butadiene rubber,
styrene-butadiene rubber, and modified styrene-butadiene rubber. The tire
of the present invention is prepared by using the rubber composition.
