The present invention relates to an ELISA diagnostic kit for the assay of A. pleuropneumoniae serotypes 1, 9 or 11 antibodies in the serum of pigs comprising in separate packaging, at least one of the following: a) a plate or solid support having bound thereto a purified lipopolysaccharide A. pleuropneumoniae serotype 1 antigen for a specific binding to anti-A. pleuropneumoniae serotypes 1, 9 or 11 antibodies present in the serum of pigs; b) serum from pigs experimentally inoculated with a strain of A. pleuropneumoniae serotypes 1 to serve as a positive control; c) pig serum from A. pleuropneumoniae free herd to serve as a negative control; and d) a detectably labeled conjugate which bind to pigs antibodies bound to the plate of a).

De onderhavige uitvinding brengt met een kenmerkende uitrusting ELISA voor de analyse van pleuropneumoniaeserotypes 1 van A...9 of 11 antilichamen in het serum van varkens met elkaar in verband bestaand uit in afzonderlijke verpakking, minstens één van het volgende: a) een plaat of een vast lichaam steunt een gezuiverd serotype 1 van lipopolysaccharidea. pleuropneumoniae antigeen voor een specifieke band aan anti-a daaraan gebonden te hebben. pleuropneumoniae serotypes 1..9 of 11 antilichamen huidig in het serum van varkens; b) serum van varkens die experimenteel met een spanning van A worden ingeënt. pleuropneumoniae serotypes 1 om als positieve controle te dienen; c) varkensserum van pleuropneumoniae vrije kudde van A. om als negatieve controle te dienen; en d) een demoduleerbaar geëtiketteerde stamverwant die aan varkensantilichamen bindt bond aan de plaat van a).
