The present invention relates to compounds of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are independently selected from alkoxy radicals having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and R.sup.4 is selected from the group consisting of alkenylenes, arylenes and alkyl-substituted arylenes having from 4 to 40 carbon atoms. These compounds may be used as silica couplers in rubber compositions.

Η παρούσα εφεύρεση αφορά τις ενώσεις του τύπου ## STR1 ## όπου R.sup.1, R.sup.2 και R.sup.3 επιλέγονται ανεξάρτητα από τους αλκόξινους ριζοσπάστες που έχουν από 1 έως 8 άτομα άνθρακα και R.sup.4 επιλέγεται από την ομάδα που αποτελείται από τα alkenylenes, arylenes και τα υποκατεστημένα με αλκύλιο arylenes που έχουν από 4 έως 40 άτομα άνθρακα. Αυτές οι ενώσεις μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν ως συζευκτήρες πυριτίου στις λαστιχένιες συνθέσεις.
