A method of recycling a cocatalyst for olefin polymerization conducted with a metallocene catalyst is provided. In the method, olefinic monomers are polymerized using a supported catalyst and cocatalyst. The supported catalyst is prepared by covalent bonding a catalyst with a support and the cocatalyst is dissolved in a suspension. The cocatalyst is separated from the resulting suspension after polymerization, and the separated cocatalyst is reused for subsequent polymerization.

Eine Methode der Wiederverwertung eines cocatalyst für die Olefinpolymerisierung, die mit einem metallocene Katalysator geleitet wird, wird zur Verfügung gestellt. In der Methode werden olefinische Monomeren mit einem gestützten Katalysator und einem cocatalyst polymerisiert. Der gestützte Katalysator wird durch kovalentes Abbinden ein Katalysator mit einer Unterstützung vorbereitet und das cocatalyst wird in einer Aufhebung aufgelöst. Das cocatalyst wird von der resultierenden Aufhebung nach Polymerisierung getrennt, und das getrennte cocatalyst wird für folgende Polymerisierung wiederverwendet.
