A process for synthesizing polyol fatty acid polyesters comprising the steps of (1) mixing ingredients comprising (a) unesterified first polyol having hydroxyl groups, (b) second polyol esterified with fatty acids, (c) basic catalyst, and (d) emulsifying agent to form a mixture of ingredients; (2) reacting the mixture of ingredients at a temperature sufficient to obtain a transesterification reaction products and by-products; and (3) removing at least a portion of the by-products from the transesterification reaction mixture; and (4) further heating the transesterification reaction products and ingredients from step (3) at a temperature and for a time sufficient to esterify at least about 50% of the hydroxyl groups of the first polyol.

Un proceso para sintetizar los poliesteres del ácido graso del polyol que abarcaban los pasos (1) de los ingredientes que se mezclaban que abarcaban (a) unesterified el primer polyol que tenía grupos del oxhidrilo, (b) segundo polyol esterificado con los ácidos grasos, (c) catalizador básico, y (d) agente emulsionando para formar una mezcla de ingredientes; (2) reaccionando la mezcla de ingredientes en una temperatura suficiente obtener productos y subproductos de una reacción del transesterification; y (3) quitando por lo menos una porción de los subproductos de la mezcla de reacción del transesterification; y (4) calefacción adicional los productos y los ingredientes de la reacción del transesterification del paso (3) en una temperatura y por una época suficiente esterificar por lo menos el cerca de 50% de los grupos del oxhidrilo del primer polyol.
