4-Arylamino, 4-aryloxy, and 4-arylthio diarylamines and derivatives thereof as selective MEK inhibitors

The invention provides compounds of formula (II), wherein Ar, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5, R.sub.6, R.sub.7, R.sub.8 and W have the meanings given in the description. They are selective MEK inhibitors. ##STR1##
