A compound represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represent amino groups that substitute at adjacent positions on the phenyl ring, provided that either of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represents a mono(C.sub.1-6 alkyl)-substituted amino group and the other represents an unsubstituted amino group, and wherein R.sup.3 represents hydrogen atom or an alkyl group and R.sup.4 represents hydrogen atom or an acyl group, and an agent for measurement of nitrogen monoxide which comprises said compound.

Un residuo rappresentato dalla seguente formula: ## del ## STR1 in cui R.sup.1 e R.sup.2 rappresentano i gruppi amminici che sostituiscono alle posizioni adiacenti sull'anello fenilico, a condizione che il uno o il altro di R.sup.1 e di R.sup.2 rappresenta un gruppo amminico alkyl)-sostituito mono(C.sub.1-6 ed altro rappresenta un gruppo amminico non sostituito ed in cui R.sup.3 rappresenta l'atomo dell'idrogeno o un gruppo alchile e un R.sup.4 rappresenta l'atomo dell'idrogeno o un gruppo dell'acilico e un agente per la misura del monossido dell'azoto che contiene il residuo detto.
