An optical semiconductor element and an optical element having an optical coupling facet are disposed on a support surface of a platform. The optical element is optically coupled to the optical semiconductor element at the optical coupling facet. A protective member covers the optical semiconductor element and is disposed at least in a light transmission area in a space between the semiconductor element and the optical coupling facet of the optical element. The protective member is made of gel acrylic modification resin. An optical semiconductor module having a sufficient moisture resistance and being suitable for low cost is provided.

Ein optisches Halbleiterelement und ein optisches Element, die eine optische Koppelung Facette haben, werden auf einer Unterstützungsoberfläche einer Plattform abgeschaffen. Das optische Element wird optisch zum optischen Halbleiterelement an der optischen Koppelung Facette verbunden. Ein schützendes Mitglied umfaßt das optische Halbleiterelement und wird mindestens in einem Bereich des hellen Getriebes in einem Raum zwischen dem Halbleiterelement und der optischen Koppelung Facette des optischen Elements abgeschaffen. Das schützende Mitglied wird Gelvom acryländerung Harz gebildet. Ein optisches Halbleitermodul, das einen genügenden Feuchtigkeit Widerstand hat und für niedrige Kosten verwendbar ist, wird zur Verfügung gestellt.
