A clip to align a fiber optic cable with a light source within a fiber module. The clip may have a pair of sidewalls that are separated by a channel. The fiber optic cable can be located within the channel of the clip and attached to the sidewalls. The sidewall are adjoined by a pair of joining segments. The joining segments are separated by a space which allows a ferrule of the fiber optic cable to be welded to a center location of the clip.

Ein Clip, zum eines Faseroptikkabels mit einer Lichtquelle innerhalb eines Fasermoduls auszurichten. Der Clip kann ein Paar Seitenwände haben, die durch eine Führung getrennt werden. Das Faseroptikkabel kann innerhalb der Führung des Clips sich befinden und zu den Seitenwänden angebracht werden. Die Seitenwand werden durch ein Paar verbindene Segmente angegrenzt. Die verbindenen Segmente werden durch einen Raum getrennt, der erlaubt, daß eine Zwinge des Faseroptikkabels zu einer Mittelposition des Clips geschweißt wird.
