The invention describes a mouthpiece for an inhalation therapy unit wherein an aerosol for inhalation is prepared for a patient, said mouthpiece comprising a substantially tubular base (1), in the wall of which an orifice (2) is formed, and a flat, elastic valve member (3), which is adapted in dimension and shape to the orifice (2) for the closing thereof and which is secured to the mouthpiece in such a manner that during an inspiration process through the mouthpiece the orifice (2) is closed and during an expiration process directed into the mouthpiece the orifice (2) is opened. According to the invention, at least one enlarged contact surface (6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 16) is provided at the orifice (2) for the accumulation and holding of an amount of liquid by adhesion. This contact surface is established both by an outwardly directed collar (6, 8, 11) surrounding the orifice and by a narrow bar (13, 15, 16) which extends into the orifice (2) for example transversely through the center of the orifice in longitudinal direction of the mouthpiece or transversely across the mouthpiece.

L'invenzione descrive un boccaglio per un'unità di terapia di inalazione in cui un aerosol per inalazione è preparato per un boccaglio paziente e detto che contiene una base sostanzialmente tubolare (1), nella parete di cui un orifizio (2) è formato e un membro piano e elastico della valvola (3), che è adattato nella dimensione e figura all'orifizio (2) per la chiusura di ciò e che è fissato al boccaglio in maniera tale che durante il processo di ispirazione attraverso il boccaglio l'orifizio (2) fosse chiuso e durante il processo di scadenza ha diretto nel boccaglio che l'orifizio (2) è aperto. Secondo l'invenzione, almeno una superficie di contatto ingrandita (6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 16) è fornita all'orifizio (2) per l'accumulazione e la tenuta di una quantità di liquido tramite adesione. Questa superficie di contatto è stabilita sia da un collare esteriormente diretto (6, 8, 11) circondante l'orifizio che da una barra stretta (13, 15, 16) che avanza trasversalmente nell'orifizio (2) per esempio attraverso il centro dell'orifizio nel senso longitudinale del boccaglio o trasversalmente attraverso il boccaglio.
