The present invention relates to a process for the solvent extraction of active compounds from chicory. Characteristically, according to the invention, chicory is macerated in said solvent at a low temperature, preferably of between 0.degree. C. and 6.degree. C., for a period of at least twelve hours; and the maceration liquor is filtered with a cut-off threshold of at least 0.22 .mu.m. The present invention further relates to the use of the extract obtained by the process of the invention for the preparation of an oral hygiene composition and for the preparation of cosmetic products.

Присытствыющий вымысел относит к процессу для растворяющего извлечения активно смесей от цикория. Характерно, согласно вымыслу, цикорий вымочен в сказанном растворителе на низкой температуре, предпочтительн между 0.degree. C и 6.degree. C, на период по крайней мере 12 часов; и ликвор мацерирования фильтрован с порогом выключения по крайней мере 0.22 mu.m. Присытствыющий вымысел более дальнейший относит к пользе выдержки полученной процессом вымысла для подготовки устно состава гигиены и для подготовки косметических продуктов.
