The invention relates to urethane di(meth)acrylate derivatives of
1-3-bis(1-isocyanato-1-methylethyl)benzene according to Formula (I)

in which R is hydrogen or a straight-chained C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl
radical; X and Y independently of each other stand for

R.sup.1 being a substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.6 - to C.sub.12 -aryl or
C.sub.7 - to C.sub.16 -alkyl aryl radical; R.sup.2 hydrogen, a C.sub.1 -
to C.sub.5 -alkyl or a substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.6 - to C.sub.12
-aryl radical; R.sup.3 hydrogen or a methyl radical; R.sup.4 a C.sub.1 -
to C.sub.8 -alkylene radical which can be broken by oxygen atoms, or a
phenylene radical; R.sup.5 hydrogen or a methyl radical; R.sup.6 a
substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.6 - to C.sub.12 -aryl or C.sub.7 - to
C.sub.16 -alkyl aryl radical; Z being --CO-- or a chemical bond and W
standing for oxygen, sulphur or NR.sup.7, R.sup.7 being hydrogen or a
straight-chained C.sub.1 - to C.sub.6 -alkyl radical. The substances are
suitable in particular for the production of dental materials.
Die Erfindung bezieht auf Uräthan di(meth)acrylate Ableitungen von 1-3-bis(1-isocyanato-1-methylethyl)benzene entsprechend Formel (i) ## STR1 ##, in dem R Wasserstoff oder ein gerad-angekettetes C.sub.1 - Alkylradikal C.sub.8 ist; X und Y unabhängig von einander Standplatz für ## STR2 das ## R.sup.1, das ein ersetztes oder nicht ersetztes C.sub.6 ist - zu C.sub.12 - Aryl oder C.sub.7 - zu C.sub.16 - Aryl- Alkylradikal; Wasserstoff R.sup.2, ein C.sub.1 - zu C.sub.5 - Alkyl oder ein ersetztes oder nicht ersetztes C.sub.6 - zu C.sub.12 - Aryl- Radikal; Wasserstoff R.sup.3 oder ein Methyl- Radikal; R.sup.4 ein C.sub.1 - zu C.sub.8 - Alkenradikal, das durch Sauerstoffatome gebrochen werden kann oder ein Phenylenradikal; Wasserstoff R.sup.5 oder ein Methyl- Radikal; R.sup.6 ein ersetztes oder nicht ersetztes C.sub.6 - zu C.sub.12 - Aryl oder C.sub.7 - zu C.sub.16 - Aryl- Alkylradikal; Z, das --CO ist -- oder eine chemische Bindung und ein W, die für Sauerstoff, Schwefel oder NR.sup.7, R.sup.7 ist Wasserstoff oder ein gerad-angekettetes C.sub.1 steht - zu C.sub.6 - Alkylradikal. Die Substanzen sind insbesondere für die Produktion der zahnmedizinischen Materialien verwendbar.
