A method of manufacturing a material for a magnesium alloy member, characterized in that the method comprises the steps of: heating a solid-liquid coexistent magnesium alloy up to a temperature in the range of from the solidus temperature or more to the liquidus temperature thereof or less; homogeneously dispersing carbon fibers into the solid-liquid coexistent magnesium alloy, wherein the carbon fibers have been cut into arbitrary lengths or powdered and have not been subjected to surface treatment; and then cooling the magnesium alloy.

Um método de manufaturar um material para um membro da liga do magnésio, caracterizado naquele o método compreende as etapas de: aquecendo uma liga coexistent do magnésio do solid-liquid até uma temperatura na escala da temperatura ou de mais do solidus à temperatura do liquidus disso ou a menos; fibras homogênea dispersando-se do carbono na liga coexistent do magnésio do solid-liquid, wherein as fibras do carbono foram cortadas em comprimentos arbitrários ou pulverizadas e não foram sujeitadas ao tratamento de superfície; e então refrigerando a liga do magnésio.
