A method of providing call tariff information to a subscriber coupled to a telecommunications network 1, where the call tariff information relating to a call from a terminal 9 of the subscriber to a B-number 13. The method comprising sending a subscriber initiated call tariff enquiry from the subscriber terminal 9 to the telecommunications network 1 over a signalling channel, the enquiry including at least a part of said B-number or an identification of the B-number. Call tariff information relating to said call is determined at the network 1 and sent from the network 1 to the subscriber terminal 9 over said signalling channel. The call tariff information is then presented to the subscriber on a display 11 of the subscriber terminal 9.

Une méthode de fournir des informations de tarif d'appel à un abonné couplé à un réseau de télécommunications 1, où l'information de tarif d'appel concernant un appel d'une borne 9 de l'abonné à un B-nombre 13. La méthode comportant envoyant un abonné lance l'enquête de tarif d'appel de la borne 9 d'abonné à l'excédent du réseau de télécommunications 1 un canal de signalisation, l'enquête comprenant au moins une partie de ledit B-nombre ou une identification du B-nombre. L'information de tarif d'appel concernant ledit appel est déterminée au réseau 1 et envoyée à partir du réseau 1 au canal de signalisation par excédent de la borne 9 d'abonné. L'information de tarif d'appel est alors présentée à l'abonné sur un affichage 11 de la borne 9 d'abonné.
