A laser-induced thermal recording element comprising a support having
thereon a colorant layer comprising a colorant dispersed in a polymeric
binder, said colorant layer having associated therewith a laser
light-absorbing dye absorbing at the wavelength of a laser used to expose
said element, said laser light-absorbing dye comprising a polymethine
(cyanine) dye having covalently bonded thereto a phenylenediamine moiety.
The element exhibits improved dye stability.
Un élément thermique laser-induit d'enregistrement comportant un appui ayant là-dessus une couche de colorant comporter un colorant dispersé dans une reliure polymère, ladite couche de colorant ayant associé en conséquence un colorant lumière-absorbant de laser absorbant à la longueur d'onde d'un laser utilisé pour exposer ledit élément, a indiqué le colorant lumière-absorbant de laser comportant un colorant de polymethine (cyanine) en covalence ayant collé là-dessus une partie de phénylènediamine. Les objets exposés d'élément ont amélioré la stabilité de colorant.
