An information-recording medium comprising a substrate having thereon a
recording layer capable of recording information with laser light, said
recording layer containing: at least one compound selected from the group
consisting of compounds represented by the following general formulae
(I-1), (I-2), (I-3) and (I-4); and an organic dye other than said
compounds.
