The present invention relates to the delivery of nonsteroidal
antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) through an inhalation route. Specifically,
it relates to aerosols containing NSAIDs that are used in inhalation
therapy. In a composition aspect of the present invention, the aerosol
comprises particles comprising at least 5 percent by weight of an NSAID.
In a method aspect of the present invention, an NSAID is delivered to a
mammal through an inhalation route. The method comprises: a) heating a
composition, wherein the composition comprises at least 5 percent by
weight of an NSAID, to form a vapor; and, b) allowing the vapor to cool,
thereby forming a condensation aerosol comprising particles, which is
inhaled by the mammal. In a kit aspect of the present invention, a kit for
delivering an NSAID through an inhalation route to a mammal is provided
which comprises: a) a composition comprising at least 5 percent by weight
of an NSAID; and, b) a device that forms an NSAID aerosol from the
composition, for inhalation by the mammal.
Die anwesende Erfindung bezieht auf der Anlieferung der nonsteroidal entzündungshemmenden Drogen (NSAIDs) durch einen Einatmungweg. Spezifisch bezieht sie auf den Aerosolen, die NSAIDs enthalten, die in der Einatmungtherapie benutzt werden. In einem Aufbauaspekt der anwesenden Erfindung, enthält das Aerosol die Partikel, die mindestens 5 Prozent nach Gewicht eines NSAID enthalten. In einem Methode Aspekt der anwesenden Erfindung, wird ein NSAID an ein Säugetier durch einen Einatmungweg geliefert. Die Methode enthält: A), einen Aufbau heizend, worin der Aufbau mindestens 5 Prozent nach Gewicht eines NSAID enthält, um einen Dampf zu bilden; und, B), den Dampf abkühlen lassend, ein Kondensationaerosol dadurch bildend, das Partikel enthält, das durch das Säugetier inhaliert wird. In einem Installationssatzaspekt der anwesenden Erfindung, wird ein Installationssatz für das Liefern eines NSAID durch einen Einatmungweg an ein Säugetier zur Verfügung gestellt, das enthält: A) ein Aufbau, der mindestens 5 Prozent nach Gewicht eines NSAID enthält; und, B) eine Vorrichtung, die ein NSAID Aerosol vom Aufbau bildet, für Einatmung durch das Säugetier.
