A pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing cancer containing a
compound of the general formula (I), a prodrug, a pharmaceutically
acceptable salt, or a solvate thereof as an active ingredient:

wherein R.sup.1 is hydroxy or the like; R.sup.2 is optionally substituted
lower alkyl or the like; R.sup.3 is hydrogen or the like; R.sup.4 is
optionally substituted arylene or the like; R.sup.5 is optionally
substituted aryl or the like.
