An adjustable pedal system for a motor vehicle is presented. The system
includes an adjustable pedal assembly being movable to at least two pedal
positions and an adjustable pedal module, responsive to a pedal command,
to control the movement of the adjustable pedal assembly. The pedal module
includes a lockout module to disable the movement of the adjustable pedal
assembly when a predetermined lockout condition is detected. The pedal
module is interconnected through a data bus to at least one of vehicle
electronic modules. The predetermined lockout condition is communicated to
the adjustable pedal module over the data bus.
Un sistema ajustable del pedal para un vehículo de motor se presenta. El sistema incluye un montaje ajustable del pedal que es movible por lo menos a dos posiciones del pedal y a un módulo ajustable del pedal, responsivo a un comando del pedal, de controlar el movimiento del montaje ajustable del pedal. El módulo del pedal incluye un módulo del cierre para inhabilitar el movimiento del montaje ajustable del pedal cuando se detecta una condición predeterminada del cierre. El módulo del pedal se interconecta a través de un ómnibus de datos por lo menos a uno de módulos electrónicos del vehículo. La condición predeterminada del cierre se comunica al módulo ajustable del pedal sobre el ómnibus de datos.
