Methods of treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and reduction of the
level of the prostate specific antigen (PSA) of benign prostate conditions
are disclosed. The treatment method includes an initial treatment of
patients with orally administration of an initial dosage of about 40 mg 13
cis-retinoic acid daily for a period from about ten days to about twenty
days, and followed by a sustaining treatment of the patients with orally
administration of a sustaining dosage of about 40 mg 13 cis-retinoic acid
about every five to seven days in a sustaining period.
Des méthodes de traitement de hyperplasia prostatique bénin et de réduction du niveau de l'antigène spécifique de prostate (PSA) des états bénins de prostate sont révélées. La méthode de traitement inclut un premier traitement des patients présentant par voie orale l'administration d'un premier dosage environ 40 de journal cis-retinoic d'acide du magnésium 13 pendant une période d'environ dix jours à environ vingt jours, et suivi d'un traitement soutenant des patients avec par voie orale l'administration d'un dosage soutenant environ 40 d'acide cis-retinoic du magnésium 13 environ tous les cinq à sept jours dans une période soutenante.
