The present invention provides a process for the preparation of lithium
cobaltate by a solid state thermal one step process comprising mixing
lithium oxide (Li.sub.2 O) and cobalt nitrate (Co(NO.sub.3).sub.2) in
solid state uniformly, adding a heat generating material to the mixture
and grinding the mixture and heating the ground mixture at a temperature
in the range of 650 to 700.degree. C. to obtain the desired lithium
cobaltate.
De onderhavige uitvinding verstrekt een proces voor de voorbereiding die van lithium cobaltate door een in vaste toestand thermische stapproces bestaand uit mengt lithiumoxyde (Li.sub.2 O) en kobaltnitraat (Co(NO.sub.3).sub.2) in in vaste toestand uniform, een hitte toevoegt die materiaal produceert aan het mengsel en het mengsel maalt en het grondmengsel verwarmt bij een temperatuur in de waaier van 650 aan 700.degree. C. om het gewenste lithium te verkrijgen cobaltate.
