A new and distinct highly ornamental cultivar of Syringa
meyeri.times.Syringa microphylla is provided. A Lilac plant having a
rounded neat compact growth habit is described. Highly attractive trusses
of fragrant pale antique pink blossoms are formed in late spring and
sometimes also during late summer. Good winter hardiness is made possible
and the plant has been found to be relatively free of insect and disease
problems during observations to date. The plant is particularly
well-suited for growing as an ornamental specimen or as a mass planting in
the landscape.
Una nuova e cultivar altamente ornamentale distinta del microphylla di Syringa meyeri.times.Syringa è fornita. Una pianta lilla che ha un'abitudine compatta accurata arrotondata di sviluppo è descritta. Il fascio altamente attraente di fiori dentellare antichi pallidi fragranti è formato in molla tarda ed a volte anche durante di fine dell'estate. La buona robustezza di inverno è permessa e la pianta è stata trovata relativamente esente per essere dall'insetto e dai problemi di malattia durante le osservazioni fin qui.
